Very friendly and helpful staff from the moment we arrived. They work so hard. Rooms and hotel generally was very clean and looked after. Air con worked well and we really enjoyed having tea / coffee making facilities in the room and free bottles of water everyday. Pool was great but a little cold - kids loved it. There was a good selection at breakfast and great that we could sit outside. Also loved that we could order drinks to have around the pool. Nice and quiet despite being close to a main road and there was a lovely bar / restaurant across the road and Lidl supermarket. Took us about 20mins to walk to Arena, train station and main attraction / centre of Nimes. Great location. Loved our 2 night stop over stay here whilst interrailing with 2 children (aged 10 & 13 yrs).

The hotel was within walking distance of the arena, around 10 minutes, and the historical centre of Nimes. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak English. We were able to use the pool before and after check-in and checkout which was helpful as was the left luggage facility. The pool is medium size and wonderful to use after a day of sightseeing. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Also close by is a lovely boullangerie and Lidl. My husband enjoyed the breakfast. Our room was clean and each room comes with a small patio area with chairs and table although most people use the outside seating space. We felt very relaxed here and although next to a busy road we didn't notice any noise. Great to have air con. The bed was big.

Not centrally located, but a pleasant 20 minute walk to the middle of Nimes for evening meals etc. Near various shops though. Had everything you might want on a holiday though. We were pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar prices were pleasantly acceptable. The pool was ideal and being circular, did not suffer from serious swimmers "doing lengths". It was not busy anyway. The Roman amphitheatre in the centre, was hosting different (well-known) musical acts every night and it was excellent people-watching the widely different fans who stayed at the hotel to see their idols! The private car park had plenty of space and was much appreciated.

Chris

Good location a 20minute easy walk from the main centre. There is a lovely little pool with lots of comfy sun beds and plenty of umbrellas just a few steps away from the rooms. There is also a bar service serving drinks. The rooms with private terraces round the pool are delightful. The hotel is across the road from a shopping centre.
